Credit Cards and College Students

Have you ever wondered why so many college students have so many credit cards? Most don’t have any real credit history to speak of and very few have the kinds of jobs that would indicate they could make a credit card payment. What’s the deal?

Well, it turns out that for years now college students have been the not-so-secret target of banks and credit card companies because of their vast long-term potential. They represent enormous profit for banks. Maybe that’s why they’ve been so aggressively marketed.

Find out more about the marketing tactics banks use to rope in college students by reading my article on Hubpages:  “The College Credit Card Two-Step.”

You can also find a great selection of information about credit cards on Amazon.com.Amazon has many books in several different price ranges – and they have great shipping options too.
